Online Quizbowl Websites

These two websites are the go-to for anyone studying quiz bowl. Protobowl I used on my laptop / school given chromebook while Quiz Watch I used on my phone on the go. I took the questions that were given in high frequency and ran them through a website called QuizDB and studied the keywords that reveal the answer, i.e. the ship "Demeter" in the question is a Dracula answer.

Reflection

 My argument has evolved from project three to project four by introducing the visual side of my journey as a high school senior. Project three was me introducing quiz bowl in sort of an academic language so my audience, who most have misconceptions about quiz bowl, can understand in clear and transparent language how quiz bowl is not any different from another sport-like organization. Project four introduced my side of the story in order to support my argument from project three. Passion is really what motivated me through that journey as a senior and captain of the quiz bowl team, and I was able to capture unique moments for my team, of whom I am fortunate to have played with last year. Miscellaneous

Here is a collage of miscellaneous photos from the 2020-2021 school year. The first photo is our chipotle fundraiser we set up in order to prepare for regular Nationals held by the NAQT, and History Bowl. We managed to raise enough money to qualify for both games, and the price for attending the regular nationals is shown in photo two. The last two photos are just what symbolizes me. The third photo is my award / scholarship for leadership and service given by the American Legion Post 759. The last photo is me next to my iPad on the school newsletter that I used for quiz bowl until 2021 when I bought a new laptop.
